Whitex Chlorox Bleach – A Strong Oxidizer

Whitex Chlorox Bleach (RXSOL-15-1500-005) is a strong oxidizer comes in the form of liquid to remove strains from the tanks, clothes, etc and thus, whitens the fabric. Today, bleach is found in almost every house to solve various household purposes and given a name i.e. Sodium Hypochlorite Solution. The main application of this liquid is that it break down the useless colour into small parts/particles and can be removed in a single wash. The liquid can be used in both hot and warm water or at room temperature. It comes in the form of liquid contained in a bottle of 5.00 litres and helps to remove tough strains especially from white fabrics to make them sparkling and strain-free forever.

The bleach we are using to clean the surface of the tanks helps to remove odour, colour and thus helps to improve permanganate time.

Two different ways of using Whitex Chlorox Bleach to remove stains

The very first way is spraying by following the method of rough washing which we usually use to clean the surface of the tank. Take only 1-3% of the bleach solution. Spray DI water to wet the tank surface and then spray bleach all over the surface. Wait for 30 minutes but make sure that the surface does not become dry at any moment. Then rinse the tank from top to the sump with DI water and make sure that you have covered all the areas in a proper manner. You can carry the process with fresh and clean DI water for at least twice to get better results.

The other way is re-circulation followed by rough washing where you can apply 1-3% of the dilute bleach on the surface of the tank. Mix sufficient amount of bleach with fresh water within the tank and then heat the tank mixture to 40-50 degree Celsius. Keep circulating the drop line if fitted in your tank and after that circulate the mixture through butter worth machine for about 3 hours. After the re-circulation process, warm butter worth tank to 500 degree Celsius for more 3 hours and then increase the temperature of the water up to 80-85 degree Celsius just after 45 minutes. The main purpose of re-circulation is to mix all the bleach into the water. Check the smell and if there is no bleach remaining in the tank, rinse and dry the tank properly with fresh water.

Important points to follow at the time of cleaning the tank

Make a large batch including number of tanks in case of more number of tanks required re-circulation process so that there is no wastage and the liquid can be transferred in between the tanks if required. For circulating any of the solution, make use of a strainer at the pump stack. Extra care is required in case of using product other than bleach in any coated space as the tanks are usually made from lining-stainless, Phenolic, Epoxy or Zinc.

As the temperature increases, the tank becomes too hot which do not allow the tanks to get dry or get easily stored the solution in cargo tanks which acts as a cleaning solution.
