What is the difference between blue silica gel and orange silica gel?
1.Blue indicating silica gel contains cobalt chloride and is therefore extremely toxic for human use. Whereas, orange indicating silica gel does not contain cobalt chloride but contains methyl violet.
2.The cobalt chloride in blue silica gel allows it to change color from blue (when dry) to pink (when wet). Whereas, orange indicating silica gel changes from orange (when dry) to green (when wet).
RX MARINE INTERNATIONAL has ready stock of all three different color indicating silica gels in Mumbai, Gandhidham, Chennai, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata, Fujairah and Oman.
